_Moe's Valley and the Southwest

Another tick off the climbing bucket list from last year: Moe's Valley and St. George.

We planned our days to include plenty of climbing time, but also making sure that we satisfied our tourist itch by visiting the Grand Canyon on the first morning of our trip by starting off with a 2AM drive from Vegas to the "Big Scar". After all, some of us haven't seen it -- we kind of had to.

The American southwest is by far one of my favorite places to visit in the world. If you've never been there, I highly recommend that you go and see it for yourself.

Back to the reason why we made the trip: sandstone bouldering. Moe's Valley and the climbing area of St George has to be one of the most under-rated, world-class bouldering areas in the U.S. With only a week for us to explore and a short list of classics to try, the day of our return flight left with us only seeing perhaps 1/10th of the entire bouldering playground that is St George... maybe less.

This is a story to be continued for sure. 2019?
